Kim Higgins was true dear friend and far as Im concerned family. I use to work with her at silver dollar city.  I didnt get to  see her for a couple of years .  I do miss her. Mark Carter

Obituary – Kim E. Higgins

Kim E. Higgins, Galena, Missouri, daughter of Donald and Donna (Wagner) Riggs was born December 11, 1959 in Buffalo, New York and departed this life November 17, 2007 in her home at the age of 47.

Kim was united in marriage to Harold Higgins on October 5, 1979 and they had made their home in the area the past 15 years coming from Tuscon, Arizona. She worked at Silver Dollar City in the food service department.

Kim was preceded in death by her father and mother-in-law, Joyce Marsh.

Survivors include: her mother, Donna Riggs of Galena; husband, Harold; son, Jesse and fiancé, Amber Marco of Springfield; daughter, Lizabeth Higgins of Galena; sister, Cindy Partin and husband, Phil of Springfield; 2 grandchildren, Tatum Johnson and Kellen Campbell and 1 grandchild on the way; good friend, Ronald Roadcap and family and a host of other relatives and friends.

A memorial service was held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, November 24, 2007 in Manlove-Stumpff Chapel, Crane with Community Hospice Chaplin, Larry Kackley officiating. Cremation was under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Homes.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Treatment Centers of America.
